Transforming a dark, graffiti'd walkway under the Lakeshore Road and Credit River into a bright , beautiful mural of the salmon of the Credit and the Port Credit lighthouse keeper was made possible through a generous donation from the Port Credit Community Foundation. The graffiti has not reoccurred, the walkway is now well used and the murals have become an integral part of the tourist attractions in Port Credit

Rotary Club of Mississauga Lakeshore
The Rotary Club was looking for a new and unique project that would take place in the summer. In just two years, Rotary Movie Nights in the Park has evolved into a seven-evening program throughout July and August at Port Credit Memorial Park because of the significant financial contribution and support of the Port Credit Community Foundation. Support from PCCF and local businesses allows a summer-long program for families.
